Hi all! Kira has been progressively getting worse since discharge, and as I am out of all options financially I have opened a Gofundme as a few have suggested to do. Please share if you can, and thank you so much if you are able to help! (All info on the fundme page) gofund.me/cba3a7bb1

Hi there! (TLDR at end!) I have tried my very best to avoid going down this … Kristy Brodie needs your support for Please Help little Kira Rocover!

It’s easy to become enamoured with your own potential and save yourself for “bigger things” than put effort into building wonderful experiences for those immediately around you. You don’t get to enjoy your “legacy” because you’ll be dead, so maybe it’s time to focus on where we are today.

My big thing that is going to get me in trouble one day is that I increasingly bristle at the word “fun” - it’s a fine thing for a game to be but very limiting as the end goal for a form of media!

Hard to read major publications when the only article genres are like: - "Is this criminal thing that harms the world bad? We asked the guy doing it" - "Bigotry is warranted if I'm upset about life" - "Stop being poor so loud" and - "What Does It Mean: Debating horrible thing he said very clearly"

I will never forget @xoxofest.com, despite only attending once. The vibes were unlike anything, and if anything, it's exactly what US games events miss in 2026. XOXO was focused, it had soul, it was challenging and playful - it was the polar opposite of the giant smooth mega-events games has now.

One last thing before we go. Today, after 2+ (or 10+??) years of work, we’re launching XOXO Explore, a complete archive of all eight years of the festival. xoxofest.com

It does very seriously feel like this will be a landmark case for the games industry and for online harassment more generally. The document Alyssa links here is also the first legal discussion of ChatGPT user logs I’ve ever read. I urge you to open and read the attached letter on the quoted post.

I've been quiet about my legal case as I take it very seriously and wish to keep it as separate from my everyday life as possible, but I wanted to give you all an update that provides some context for my commentary. 🧵 (1/10) kusklaw.sharefile.com/share/view/s...
