Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

I'm not a solo dev, but more than 95% of the game was made by me. Absolutely no AI was used in the process of creating HF2, and I'd argue its online features and UX are as good or better than some recent fighting game releases.

This was, is, and always will be a brilliantly shit illustration of how stupidly self defeating business people can be. Forgoing the universal positive of a staff self-training on their own time, because of the vague fear that one in a hundred might make some money.
