Unironically, I am who I am (and got into costuming) because of finding community with the freaks and queers at my local RHPS show as a confused and scared teen and taking "don't dream it, be it" to heart, so I will definitely remember that message 💔

Everyone who reads Campo Largo extends to me a grace that I neither expect from any individual nor take for granted. I do hope, though, that Campo Largo makes readers _work_. I didn't spend four years writing and illustrating a 270,000 word work for it to be any more easily digestible than my life.

This kind of real human interaction is so magical. Every time someone compliments my work it absolutely makes my day. It's why I try and actively engage with as many of the amazing artists I encounter online as I can.
