This is also before we get to the other part of that. Richer people get free stuff all the time. They get full meals and complimentary stuff on top of the normal things they were buying. They get discounts and deals. Once you clear some wealth gates, things get cheaper.

anyway yes i DID wait until the absolute last possible second to pay rent and then put it on a credit card anyway. summer is awesome for substitute teachers. anyone wanna buy something from my shop??????? we're having a blast over here, feeling great, i'm so good at marketing!! ✨🙌🏻✨

when i accept credit cards as a small business selling my art, i'm expected to eat the fees as ~the cost of doing business~ but when i use a card at a giant business like the billion $ property management co that is my landlord, i'm somehow still the one paying that cc fee. make it make sense
