happy August, here's my monthly reminder that reading my comics on tapas for free gets me money, through various magical means (ads and traffic probably) tapas.io/series/Shark... it applies to ALL of my comics so you could read or reread anything you like, and it helps ✨ ok thanks I love you buh-bye

"Support for free on Tapas"
"I'm part of the Tapas Creator Bonus Program, which means that just by reading my comics on Tapas, your views will help me get paid! Thank you for the support!"Sharkteeth page 221, Adam is in his office at Huna (the club from the very beginning)
Adam: "Then get back on the floor and work. You can't have sniffed out every homo or bicurious tourist yet."
Pepper grits his teeth and leaves, having lost the argument/gambit he attempted before this page...
He's then seen going to the bathroom and a very ominously-shaded homo or bicurious tourist is following him.
Back in Adam's office, he's calling someone on his in-universe Blackberry: "Meet me at the Red Ring."Sharkteeth page 222, establishing shot of an old cannery with a large unmarked white van parked in front, and another white sedan pulling in in the foreground. People with briefcases/supplies are walking from the van into the building. Adam has a conversation with Rhode on a wrestling stage with a big bloodstain being mopped up by someone
Adam: "This tournament didn't go as well as I'd hoped. Your picks were lacking. I think you're holding out on me."
Rhode, nervously: "Well-- heh-- c'mon, it's a waste to let the ones with real potential stop here... right? More money in the long run?"
Adam jabs Rhode's chest with his middle finger, holding a cigar between the fingers of the same hand.
Adam: "I don't pay you to think about the long run. I pay you to manage boxers, schmooze with competition, and feed the death machines."Sharkteeth page 223, Adam pulls Rhode closer by the tie, smirking at him threateningly while Rhode looks even more nervous (and maybe a little fear-bonered bc who could blame him)
Adam: "Now, there's someone I'd like to hand-pick."
Shot of Ikaika, the boxing gym Ken goes to, he's doing hist late-night deadlifts and Rhode interrupts him, some of Adam's muscle looming silently behind him.
Rhode: "H-hey, Ken. You uh, got time for a meeting?"
Ken turns, sweating with exertion, and looks over his shoulder suspiciously.

Guys will listen to male influencer bullshit about needing to have a six pack and manipulate everyone and meanwhile women will go “you know who is the sexiest fucking guy I’ve ever seen?” and post this

Bob Hoskins with Roger Rabbit

Embracing the fact I've fucked my sleep schedule with starting my webcomic/Zine comix project. I've got several Stories thumbed out and ready in the chamber, I just gotta stop being a coward and go.

Trust, I’d argue, is the most important thing we have as scinece communicators. People come to us because they trust that *we* have done the work to figure out what is true and what isn’t and we can explain it to them. Once that trust is broken, it’s really hard to get it back.
