I also hate how much religious rhetoric I was around played well w/ dysphoria. “Your life is not your own, you were bought with a price” “Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he’ll make your paths straight” “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak”

Dysphoria is crazy. Before transition, I was so indifferent to being alive. I doubt people knew. Death seemed more like reaching the end of a movie I’d been watching for a long time. A movie that was.. fine? It’s not that I wanted it to end abruptly. There were enjoyable parts. It was just a movie.

Yeah it did kind of feel like the Ribbit scene was you hitting me in the face with a pipe with “Jax is Trans” written on it, not to mention the choice to use “isn’t she lovely” cementing that so much further

being transgender is amazing and beautiful, transitioning is one of the greatest choices you can ever make and i hope more people realize that its not dangerous or evil, but liberating

ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps. If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

In ICE detention camps, “disease and illness are rampant, mold grows on the walls, and detained individuals are denied sufficient food, clean drinking water, proper medical care, and disability accommodations”. ICE is a scourge of humanity, and also of public health.

I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work. I don’t let bullies win. Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.

In October, ICE grabbed Maher Tarabishi. He was a 24/7 caregiver for his disabled son Wael. At the time of Maher’s detention, disability advocates warned that taking away Wael’s caregiver put his life at risk. Wael died on Friday at age 30. ICE caused his death. They didn’t get to say goodbye.

Disabled son of ICE detainee dies after 30 days of hospitalization

It had been months since Wael Tarabishi seen his father. The family is calling on ICE to release Maher Tarabishi so he may attend his son's funeral.

One week ago they shot and killed a white woman in broad daylight. Tonight they’ve shot a protester in the leg and put six children in the hospital. The kids were in a car with their Dad who was trying to get them out of the neighborhood. ICE threw a flash bang into the car. They have no limits.

Non-protesting dad just trying to hustle his kids, as young as 6mo, out of the neighborhood. ICE threw a flash-bang INTO HIS car, all 6 kids in the hospital now. If anyone wondered how things turn against occupying armies there's a case study playing out in front of you.

My daughter's school in Richfield, MN (adjacent to Minneapolis) is closing tomorrow due of out-of-control federal agents. Fourth graders spent the week building walls of snow at recess to protect their classmates from ICE. This isn't about immigration enforcement, it's about terror.

I really want ppl w/o Minneapolis connections to understand You might've heard that Mpls public schools went hybrid bc so many families are in hiding. Well, a coworker just told me that today, during his kid's hybrid class, a kid's apt building was raided onscreen *Everyone has stories like this*

This is f*cked up! There isn’t any law in this country that requires you to provide proof of citizenship on the interior, but unfortunately ICE is racially profiling. And they don’t care if you say you’re a US citizen. So where does this leave everyone? If you don’t look white, you’re in danger.

New: we've obtained material explaining how an ICE surveillance system, called Webloc, works. Draw shape on a map, see all phones available there, follow them home. All without warrant “This is a very dangerous tool in the hands of an out-of-control agency.” www.404media.co/inside-ices-...

An ICE agent groomed and sexually abused a detainee for over 3 months. These men are more likely to cause harm than the immigrants they’re targeting. They’re more likely to have criminal records. Arrest & charge every last one of them.
