This is a small thread on #PlanetaryScience and how certain old resources are retained - I fear - only on @archive.org. Even ADS seems to miss them. This thread is by all means no complete account. Technology is there to try and preserve, and make discoverable (again) such scholarly record.

Time request help from the crowd! One of the things I want to add to IndoorCO2map is Support for stationary CO2-Sensors which transmit continously (be it from stores, restaurants, museums etc. I have the technical side mostly done. Now I am looking into which devices are best suited for this

What happens to federal institutes in the US. i.e. implementing some sort of "disrupt everything" - with more or less revenge embedded - to all kinds of civil servants, grant recipients, folks on soft money (but tenured are probably not safe) might be inelastic.

One has to say that #tinitaly from @ingv-press.bsky.social is a real beauty (so is the geology beneath...)
