Not sure why, but it doesn't feel like Iran is attacking the US, or Minnesota. They are, obviously. However, it **feels** like they are attacking Trump, specifically, his hyper partisan politics that continue to be a festering wound for the GOP.

Trump's own intelligence agencies concluded that Iran attacked Minnesota's critical infrastructure and Trump is saying that it's Minnesota's own fault and denying it was Iran. The federal government won't defend blue states in a literal war.

I started writing my speculative dystopian scifi series in 2010, published in 2013. The premise is that a fiscal apocalypse fueled by AI/Space Travel shuts down most of a corporate-fortified Earth. Nine books later I'm rapidly losing the ability to use "speculative" when describing my work. 😐
