The 9 games that shape who I am. Was tricky to nail it down to just 9! PSX is pound-for-pound my favorite era even though I started with NES.
Really fun Blizzard stats! I was there Day 1 for WoW (even waited in line at Best Buy for launch), but I'm most proud of being in the top % of Starcraft 2 players <3
Sorry I've been quiet lately, promise I'll have some more stuff to show soon-ish! Currently in NDA limbo weeeeeee But that DOES give me some time to dig into my new Procreate book by the super-rad @tikklil.bsky.social and Packt Publishing! Thoughts by the end of the week! packt.link/xFaB6

I'm very pleased with my recent decision to buy a Retroid Pocket Nova handheld, so I can load it up with a 1TB card of PS1/Dreamcast/PS2/GameCube games and kind of be done with keeping up with this current nonsense. www.neowin.net/news/sony-qu...
Sony quietly prepares to bring ads to PlayStation ecosystem as game costs rise
It looks like Sony is planning to add an advertising environment on PlayStation to tackle the rising game development costs and increase revenue

It's so cool to see these in the wild! Got to do these for Universal Studios and the BAM! Box when it was still a thing. LOVED working on this project, and Spooky Jen's one of the VERY few that got both prints :o :o :o Thank you for hanging these in your home, enjoy!!!
Finally got these amazing prints framed! 🖤
Artists when the existential threat of generative ai dawns on another profession
Saw The Odyssey today and mannnnn, Chris Nolan has balls of steel for even attempting it (and succeeding with primarily practical effects, for that matter). Great, but the whole isle of Circe (from the moment they land to the moment they leave) is a masterclass. Just that segment could win awards.
Hey gangsters! Sorry for the disappearing act lately, summer is SUPER busy and I'm currently in NDA-limbo on like 6 projects lol. Big changes coming this year, as your boy has a new full-time job (with health insurance, hurray) but still doing BIG swings on art. Can't wait to show all NDA work!
Got hit with the ol' 'Age Verification' stuff for Bluesky (probably due to Texas being...well...Texas) Told it to get fucked with a custom filter for my adblocker. No SSN info for you, weird social media age checker!
Just saw about the (even more) layoffs. Heartbreaking stuff for truly incredible folks. Genuinely, I think if Capcom ever releases a Breath of Fire Collection, and somehow Fromsoft does a Tenchu Collection, I'll probably be "done done" with keeping up with games. Those are my two white whales.
It's (sort of) hyperbolic, but I'm actually convinced that the decisions Sony and Microsoft are making with the Playstation and XBox brands is to actually get out of the video game market. Hell, AAA mega-hits still see full studios fired, so who knows at this point. Nintendo wins the long game.
So they're stopping production of physical goods when the price of digital storage is skyrocketing. Good, great, yes this is good, can't see any potential problems at all! Not to mention the whole "digital goods" license revoking and them also shutting down PSVita and PS3 stores. Woof.
"As consumer preferences and the broader entertainment industry continue to shift away from physical discs to digital, physical game disc production for all new games releasing on PlayStation consoles will be discontinued starting January 2028."
Right now the world is full of people who want to code and write and paint and film stuff and people who want to play and read and look at and watch stuff and nobody is allowed to do any of that because some unrelated third guy isn't making enough money off the deal
Our games industry is people. Our studios are people. Our teams people, our games by people for people. Our games are made by people, in groups of people, in teams of people, making people things for people. The magic is people, and the people deserve so much better than all this. I am so sorry.
The funny thing is that Ive been a storyboard artist for 30 years and Im well far off sitting on millions here. We are the cheapest you’ll make your film before it’s shot. We have ideas and experience and cost less than the rental of a lighting rig for a few weeks on our entire run on a show
A24 announces that they want to put storyboard artists out of work. That's what the headline should be written as. Becuase we should be honest about what these AI "tools" are trying to do, and who it is trying to circumvent. variety.com/2026/film/ne...
Siren I, painted in Clip Studio Paint using Wes Gardner's brushes. Finally got around to finishing this one today! #art, #CastleRat, #fanart
My favorite part of the Unreal Engine 6 demo and the LLM and AI stuff, is in the showcase video, the LLM literally got a request wrong, the NARRATOR SAID IT, DID AN UNDO, AND THEN IT GOT IT WRONG AGAIN. This was the SHOWCASE VIDEO. The "selling this to investors" thing. The NOT-CUT footage.

So sad to hear of the passing of John Blanche. I remember seeing his work in White Dwarf growing up, and always wanted to work on Warhammer as a result. Thankfully I was able to, and I can safely say that Blanche's work was a blueprint of learning and one of my key illustration inspirations.
I like Scorcese fine But I do find a sweet justice in the fact that the one film that actually won him a Best Director and Best Picture were a remake of a better film (Infernal Affairs) So he's used to piggybacking on better artist's labor already, this move checks out. He can sod off.
Martin Scorsese has joined a generative AI startup as a partner and advisor. He says he has used AI during pre-production storyboarding, adding it helps him communicate his vision more clearly and efficiently to his creative team, including the production designer, art designer and cinematographer.

30 minute Quick sketch (literally thought about naming this "proof of life" because I haven't posted online in foreverrrrr lol) Breaking in some new toys that I'll be recording about! Big things coming VERY soon!
I made a video game ! Carnholt is a Roguelike deckbuilder I created by myself using my illustrations. Venture into the depths of the oldest forest and kill a god that refused to die I hope you will enjoy it.
Happy Star Wars Day! Throwback to when I got to paint the Boba Fett set for the Star Wars Villainous: Scum and Villainy set! I did nearly 40 paintings for the project, everything from characters to landscapes, it was a dream come true!
