Youth made little beads out the harvested wild #clay to see how well they hold their shape. Rather than just making test tiles for pit firing, they drilled holes in them, stamped them with tree bark and birch stumps to make little pendants. If they survive the fire, they'll have wearable #art!

My Pops picked up photography about ten years ago, but the pandemic turned him into a full‑blown student of the craft. He spends many of his summer evenings capturing hummingbirds — and recently learned their wings can act like tiny prisms when the light hits just right. Magic in motion.

Volunteers gathered to raise event tents to provide shelter and gathering space for the many activities, celebrations, and community events planned throughout the summer season. What could have been a challenging task became an enjoyable day filled with teamwork, cooperation, and community spirit.
