Two batches of wild #clay in the bucket. This summer we're having so much fun. We can't wait to test how both of these samples 1km apart turn out. #art #pottery #ceramics

Youth made little beads out the harvested wild #clay to see how well they hold their shape. Rather than just making test tiles for pit firing, they drilled holes in them, stamped them with tree bark and birch stumps to make little pendants. If they survive the fire, they'll have wearable #art!

We have to test some of the wild clay we harvested a few weeks ago. So the kids made simple pendants to see how the clay dries. Will it warp, crack or split before we pit fire them? Looks great so far! #art #ceramics #fun #recreation #summer
