OMG. They charged and convicted the wrong man for child luring. It was someone else using a similar social media handle. And the wrongly convicted guy spent 18 months in jail.

Sunil Sarwal@sunilsarwal.bsky.social · 2w agoThere’s a video circulating on FB of a mob of angry white people in Moncton beating up a young Muslim woman while yelling “Go back home.” In front of her child. She had gone to buy groceries. She was yelling for help while people laughed and filmed.
Damp days call for comfort food. I make giant rappie pies/râpure (a traditional Acadian dish with potatoes & chicken) so that we always have containers in the freezer. It may not look appetizing. But thawing then dumping it in a pan with butter & crisping it up is a favourite way to end a day.
