I never had #LinkedIn logging issues until today when I got the “Something unexpected happened” error so here’s what I’ve done: 👍🏽 cleared browsing history & caches 👍🏽 logged in via Incognito Mode 👍🏽 switched web browser I wasn’t logging in multiple times a day so WTF now?!

I’ve lost track on the number of anxiety attacks and emotional breakdowns I’ve had this month.

I can most certainly relate to this agonizing experience as someone who was laid off in April... (checks calendar)... April 2025. The number of times I’ve applied for positions since then has been met with complete silence/ghosting. Most recently, last month, five positions & an internship all 🦗!

Career Update: after a more-than-month-long interview process, I'm now being completely ghosted by the only employer to respond to an application since I got laid off in January. Still looking (increasingly desperately) for any writing/games-related work!

I have lost so much respect for so many people in this space because they still willingly spend their money on/write about/carry water for a company that directly profits off a genocide. A lot of games media believes in nothing. They just want to be paid to play with their toys.

Too many people in this space ultimately only care about their ability to play games. Their entire ideology is based on the premise that games are some right accorded to them. When that's your most core belief, nothing serious can be built on top of it.

Do you remember what *your* first R-rated movie was? I finally asked my mom (I couldn't remember), and she told me it was The Lost Boys when I was roughly the same age as my daughter (about 9). The movie traumatized her more than it did me, apparently

I haven’t been playing #MARVELSNAP in weeks and when I decided to return to the game today, I realized why I haven’t played in a while... ... Cos now the mobile client crashes almost every two minutes and drops me out of matches 99% of the time. “Great game” devs😒👍🏽!

I dunno what more or what else to say. I really need a job! I really need to work! It fucking sucks that there’s no work, despite me applying and getting ghosted for weeks regardless of how stellar my resume may be.
