Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers. This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder. Auschwitz took time.

A Special Ed supervisor asked the sci dept to create a list of goal statements with them. I politely said we do not have the expertise to do that just like they don’t know about our standards #NGSS, now I’m teaching a lesson to the sp.ed. dept tomorrow morning! Hoping to all be on the same page
