It's been a week of vet visits for Pea Soup. Concentrated good vibes for her, please. Right this second things are looking positive, fingers crossed. At the recommendation of some lovely people, I am casually dropping my kofi link. Nothing expected, will take digital hugs. ko-fi.com/sagetgreene
#Septopolis Elementals of varying types exist in the world, but Elerith seems to have a higher concentration of elementals. There's rumors and conspiracies surrounding how elementals come into being, but no definitive proof. But Elerith being home to elemental biomes and research areas ... 🧵
Good morning #Septopolis. This is a chance to talk about some of your fantastical creations if you have any or, perhaps in less magical settings, how a particular animal or plant was important. For example, a symbol of hope or calamity or a means of survival (dense calories for harsh seasons).
#Septopolis Elerith was founded in a central location of the continental mass that is my still undeveloped world. I do envision it being close to at least a sizable enough waterway for port and trade routes. 🧵
Good morning #Septopolis. As this "workshop" is intended first to build something from the ground up, we will begin with foundational elements. If the typical "key resources" or even biomes as we know them don't apply: tell us why (like magic or whatever)!
#Septopolis I'll be working on building Elerith - a city founded by Elementalists (I'm so creative with Ele-). I have six elements, and the city is governed by a council of high-tier practitioners of the individual elements. That is, six members in total. 🧵
Good morning #Septopolis. We had our familiarity sesh, now we get into what your chosen place will be. Keep in mind that while the -polis implies a city, this can be flexible to meet your needs. However, please consider the SCALE of what your place is: too big might become too difficult.
As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.
There is no ethical consumption of HBO’s Harry Potter series
You can’t without supporting Rowling’s transphobic bigotry.

It's wild to me that liberals still expect trans people to just shut up and show up to vote for people who offer them nothing, just because they're a Dem. My "kitchen table issues" are my right to exist, participate in society, get my meds, and not be arrested/harassed using the bathroom. 🧵
I will never vote for a Democrat that abandons transgender people. It's a cancer and I'll take the pain of a Republican over losing Democrats as a party and therefore losing our rights for an entire generation with nobody left to fight for us. We cannot reward this at all.
#Septopolis Hello, good evening, hi. My name is Lexy. My familiarity with city building is not too familiar, in the scope of building my own, although I love reading and exploring lore-rich and bustling cities and areas in media. 🧵
Good morning #Septopolis! For our first post, we're going slow and spreading the good knowledge of the month around, as well as trying something in an attempt to make the month more manageable for myself. If you have no idea what Septy is, please check my pinned post to avoid jumping ahead! 📌
"Trump can build ballroom but you can't have student loan relief" seems like a winning message on court reform to me. Also if you're not following Chris, please do. His reporting is fantastic.
BREAKING: On a 5-4 vote, the Supreme Court allows Trump's ballroom construction to continue. The majority found that the National Trust likely lacks standing to sue. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for himself and the Democratic appointees in dissent. More to come at Law Dork: www.lawdork.com
7/25 and only because I've seen 3 of those 7 talked about in political adjacent things. I do recommend Brittany Broski, though, she's pretty funny.
it’s that time of year again, Rolling Stone released their list of the top 25 content creators, which is actually a test of how old and out of touch you are… the lower your score, the more out of touch i’ve heard of 11 out of 25
LMAOOOOOOOOOO somebody finally asked the transphobes if they know any WNBA players besides and NOPE
i don't post a lot but you know who rules - this guy. Garl. that's all i wanted to say. be more like Garl.
It's honestly so crazy to me that we're facing a technological revolution that could displace millions of jobs in the middle of a housing affordability crisis and every day we talk about whether a trans woman is playing sports or if someone has a non-Anglo name.
Monster Hunter. Looks fun, have friends that enjoy it lots, love most Capcom games, but I could just never vibe with it. No idea why.
No hate, no dogpiling, just curious. For me, it's Skyrim. Don't know why, considering it should be exactly my kind of game, but it just didn't click for me.
Big tax results out of Missouri tonight: Voters statewide rejected by an huge margin a GOP ballot measure to phase out the income tax. They also renewed a sales tax to keep state parks free. And Kansas City approved a package of $1.7 billion of bonds for infrastracture.
Hey y'all, so if you know me, you know that my finances are, uh, nonexistent. So to mitigate that, I'm opening fiction writing commissions. 2 slots! If you like the kind of prose I write, and would like me to write something for you, please check my comm info here: danfbispo.carrd.co#services
#AwesomeCharacters The aspect I focus most on is the number of war crimes they've committed. But seriously, personality and skills has been the easiest for me to envision, with vague and shifting thoughts on appearance. Voice is one I've only landed on with one character. But fun to think about!
Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters Technical question! What aspects of your characters are clearest to you or solidify first in your mind? Their appearance? Personality? Voice? Skills? Other? Is there anything you have trouble picturing? #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts
My first isometric sprite practice tonight (and ever) wasn't too awful. I picked a palette to work with and just tried to get something down quickly. I wanted to go fantasy but I guess the palette was feeling "someone going to a club"? I'm not sure lmao #pixelart
My brain is fried from hours of pixel art tutorials, but at least I have a nice mockup for opening scene. And some potential parts I can carry over to tilesets. Imogen and Wren character sprites...exist, but poorly. Which is fine. The first draft and all. Productive night overall!
#AwesomeCharacters Mine's a bit different since it's an RPG story, but I have written a few antagonists. The Faithless leader, with his mini-empire. The God of Body and Mind who murder isekai'd his fellow God. The Mystics who worship said evil God. But I think the most important antagonist is...🧵
Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters Is it time for the return of Antagonist Day? It is! How many antagonists do you have (per story)? One major one with many followers? A group/team? One powerful individual, alone? Several unrelated ones? #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts
#AwesomeCharacters I think the rad thing about the characters I'm writing is that despite all of the hardships and awfulness I absolutely have planned, they still find hope and happiness to move forward. I'm particularly excited after writing most of Imogen and Wren's relationship... 🧵
Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters Could use some cheering up, so let's do something happy today! Please tell me something uplifting, silly, funny, or hopeful about your character! Anything you like, just something that makes you happy. #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts
