We’re less than a month from NASA launching the newest space-based observatory: The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. With a field-of-view 100x greater than Hubble’s, it will be able to survey our universe and investigate exoplanets and dark energy better than ever before.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket stage is expected to slam into the Moon at ~2:35am Eastern on Wednesday, August 5. It should hit near the lunar limb, potentially producing a brief flash and a plume of dust and debris. I'll be trying to capture it with the Astropotamus Rex 14" ACF and an ASI432 camera. 🌗🚀🔭🦛

Sure, having Betelgeuse have a companion solves the "six year riddle" but it likely won't, as this article suggests, have any impact on the fate of the star itself. I find statements like that to be indicators that the author is just looking to pad a word count. ☀️🔭🦛
