In an admittedly cursory search, literally the only references I can find to the Founders calling America "god's noble experiment" are from... Chuck Schumer speeches. Why is the Senate Democratic Leader carrying water for a right wing Christian lie? And apparently fabricating quotes to do it?

We already knew Donald Trump's Christian Nationalist speechwriters have never read the Constitution, so why would the Declaration be any different?
In the spirit of "trying to make ourselves better," there's still time to delete this and post another version — one that doesn't buy into the divisive, ahistoric, revisionist "history" of the Christian Nationalist movement.

We're relieved at the outcome of today's birthright citizenship decision, but the fact that there were 4 votes to ignore the plain language of the Constitution is appalling. The White Christian Nationalist movement will keep coming for our rights and we have to act to stop them.
