Morning :) In the grounds of Longwood Gardens you can find this rather lovely cascade and, near by, they have a Carillon. On the day I visited, the music being played was the Rains of Castamere...

Morning :) A beautiful view of dawnrise over the Wiltshire Downs, taken a few years back. I actually can't remember where I was standing to take it, so I'm not sure if that lump on the horizon is a clump of trees or a barrow monument - given we're talking Wiltshire, it could be either!
Morning :) I was SUPPOSED to be going to the Lakes again this weekend, but circumstances mean it’s not happening…so today’s photo is one of the roads near where I stay. And yes, this is a regular road and not someone’s drive or a footpath/bridleway!

Morning :) Moorhens have probably the ugliest offspring of wetland fowl - they're fuzzy, semi-bald and yet I'm rather fond of them all the same. This one's nest mates had already fledged, but he wasn't so sure about this whole 'jumping into the water' thing, though he did (eventually) follow.

Morning :) Speeding into the week a day later than usual, after a mixed bag weekend. I think I managed to get the main stuff done, but my office still looks like a whirlwind blew in. So I should probably fix that!
