i look at american senators and it’s like ‘this guy took 8 million dollars in donations from the fossil fuel lobby last year’ and then at british politicians and it’s ‘this guy met with a fossil fuel rep who bought him a curry and an onion bhaji’. our politicians are *so* cheap.

Where have all the climate activists gone?

Not only do I think he's lying that police advised him not to attend on safety grounds, I think it's a lie he used before back in 2016. He 'cancelled' a march on safety grounds but my FOI request to the Met showed this was a lie.

It's clear @royalsociety.org is too cowardly to speak out against Musk's atrocities; endorsing them with their silence. Musk (FRS) is an ambassador for the Society. What I find astonishing are the cowards (FRSs) who value their little awards higher than their morality. It says a lot about humanity.
everyone acting surprised that andy burnham, noted blairite, has absolutely nothing to say about this absurd heat. the man is a neoliberal. that means he puts companies, corporations, and vested interests before so much as giving a passing thought to the public.
