I'm fascinated by Kyle Baker's brief inking career. I think he was cranking to keep the lights on as he launched his brilliant career as a writer/artist, and it shows. But Kyle's genius as a cartoonist shines through and brings out something great & unique. Here he is over John Byrne on Avengers.
Really enjoy seeing what kind of influences folks identify in Free Planet. They're generally all over the place because of our effort to pull from foundational, profoundly influential scifi prose, especially Cordwainer Smith and Robert Heinlein. (I've never even seen DS9 but I know it's beloved!)

Really enjoy seeing what kind of influences folks identify in Free Planet. They're generally all over the place because of our effort to pull from foundational, profoundly influential scifi prose, especially Cordwainer Smith and Robert Heinlein. (I've never even seen DS9 but I know it's beloved!)
