Thanks for the birthday vibes, everyone. We had a perfect day of lazy breakfasts, present openings, pucnic at a larger lake and swimming & stand-up paddling, then playing dominion and losing lol. Ive spent the day getting used to my new macbook air, which is awesome, and editing on it (fun!).

I'm writing a short story about a manicurist & had to research the process of a manicure. Guys, this is way more horrific than anything we can make up, times 10 fingers. I thought i'd got a really gross idea but it turns out every manicurist is a skilled surgeon with tools that maim, slice & scalp.
