Last time climate activists blocked a major road (JSO, 2022) it turned into a press panic. People got sent down for years. The right, of course, was overjoyed, while we warned it was a deeply repressive escalation of enforcement. I wonder what the line will be if they apply the same rules here? -Rr

I don't get why we Anglicise some place names but not others. eg. München is changed to Munich but Mönchengladbach stays as it is. Who decides?

Been going through my Less Than Jake collection this week. I stopped buying their stuff after In With The Out Crowd. What a dreadful album. Stereotypical pop-punk (and that's a very loose definition of 'punk') and Roger's vocals on this one - Urgh! They started off such a fun band as well. Shame.

I've never got my head around time signatures. I've seen loads of Angine de Poitrine reaction videos where people have discussed and disagreed on what times they're playing in. And these people know music theory. It makes me think time signatures are a load of nonsense that don't really exist.

Two drivers have abused me this week. One for parking my van outside a house I'm delivering to and one for parking by a post box I was collecting from. Parking is allowed at both locations. Of course, they only shout abuse as they're driving off. Quiet as a mouse when they're stationary behind me.
