One neat thing about losing your job after over a decade of hard work and loyal service is finding out how people only wanted you when you could provide for them, and how many leave when you can no longer give anymore.

Working hard. Remaining loyal for years. No raises, no praise. It's not worth it. Don't waste your life with soulless corporations that don't care about you. It's difficult, never going to claim otherwise. Still, please, find a way to live your dreams. Life is far too short to not actually live.

It's been a month. Still no word about my father's parting. No word on funeral. No word on will. I know he already paid for a plot. Mom and sister had a falling out shortly before my dad's death. Maybe I'm overthinking. It's just extremely strange not hearing anything since his parting.

Truly want to rant, but it would not be helpful, and more likely would be harmful. Working on finding a repair specialist to handle an issue that should have been resolved a month ago. Three calls today, all went to voicemail. I will keep calling more companies until I get any kind of response.

Just checking up on folks. Lots are handling so very much right now. Life can be so rough. We may need to time to cry or ask for help. Please do ask for help when needed! Just try your best. Your best can varyday by day... and that's OK. Most of us are suffering. Just please, don't give up.

Dad passed away last night. Honestly not sure how I should feel. We were never close. Rough as our relationship was, he was still my father. Trying hard to sort all of this out. I'd love to hear your own stories. Honestly, that could help in processing my own. With all sincerity, thank you.

So, this is likely going to be the last year I can go to Anthrocon. I've attended since the original, Albany Anthrocon, way back in 1997. Yes, I'm old, lol. Don't want to get into details. Work BS. It's been a good run. If you go to AC, please reach out, if you want. Sure do miss you all.

It's silly. I am SO an introvert, yet do enjoy being on VRChat. Slowly learning Unity, Blender, Substance Painter, et al. Total nerd, for sure. Still, it's amazing to see one's self as... whatever you want to be. Looking to spend time with more amazing folk. I'm Fopsywoo there. Feel free to add me.

Miss my big brother. He was my hero, now twelve years passed. My best friend growing up is also gone due to MS. So many others, too. They were all amazing people. Often wonder, why am I still here, when they were far more deserving. I just miss them so much. They deserved so much better.

Often wish I could speak frankly, without censoring myself. It'd be difficult for anyone to hear, of course. Being true to one's self is important, but is it worth it, should it possibly cause harm to another? If you know me at all, you know I never want to cause harm. It is a conundrum, for sure.

I humbly apologize that we are not in a good place right now. Trying hard to find solutions to save our home, to make sure my other half will survive. Seems like everything is falling apart right now. Gosh, everyone is suffering right now, and there's no "good" answers in sight.

dropping this to $4800. Reminded recently that moving to Portland is more of a priority now than my attachment to an object or being choosy about who it goes to. #fursuit #furry

Dear Robin ➡️ BLFC, PLUSH, ANE@dear-robin.bsky.social · last yr.

Do sometimes wish someone was about to vent to when times got rough. So many of us are dealing with so much, yet bottling things inside is almost never helpful. With all due conscience, how can one vent, knowing others are suffering just as much, if not more? How do you manage? Sincere question.

Pride isn’t always parades and speeches. Sometimes it’s little paws, big messes, and a quiet truth: we’re here -- loved, unafraid, and far too stubborn to disappear. Setbacks come, but we keep painting... for those still learning how to color outside the lines. 🎨 @koidelcoyote.bsky.social
