Thought I would take a nice video of the women's peloton today, only for a Picnic-PostNL rider to immediately get run off the road 😅

'Game Recomps That Aren't Vibe-Coded' a list of games by WumpaGem | Backloggd
With the sheer abundance of game recompilations built with generative AI tools getting unwarranted attention from clickbait news outlets I felt we need some kind of curated database of recompilations ...

Not much going on with the character creator in Zero Company, but I think I made a pretty decent looking Devaronian
It sucks that GDQ is so close to me and I can't go 😭 I hope this becomes a yearly thing.

This is basically my dream game, but I already know Paradox is going to milk the crap out of it with a billion DLC while half assing the base game. I REALLY hope they have finally learned their lesson.
Rock Paper Shotgun@rockpapershotgun.bsky.social · 2mo agoAfter going back and forth for years I realized that it really depends on the game. So I gave up and now use both 😊 Some games are simply not suitable for an ultrawide or have no support while others look absolutely incredible!

Love finding out there's finally a big game set in my country, but it's going to be riddled with AI and made by a transphobe 🥰

"Indies will save us" No! YOU WILL SAVE INDIES! Go leave a review for that neat indie game you like, share the trailer for an upcoming game you're anticipating, tell your fave developer they did a good job, go tell people about such and such game that's just come out, you can make a difference!
I've never touched google gemini or whatever, but this was turned on. myactivity.google.com/product/gemini turn that shit off

trans rights frankly is a top 5, potentially top 3 issue for me despite not being trans and not having any trans family being bigoted against trans folks not only hurts my trans friends and every trans person but is so predictive of further bigotry
This is made by the Stories Untold devs (no code) so that's already enough to get me incredibly excited. I really hope they will turn the gameplay mechanics on their head like they did in previous games and freak out Silent Hill fans.
Eurogamer@eurogamer.bsky.social · 3mo agoReady yourselves, Silent Hill fans - Silent Hill: Townfall wants to "massively subvert" your expectations, and after playing several hours I'm hugely excited. Mathieu van der Poel singlehandedly proving cycling is the best sport. What a fucking finish! Up there with his Amstel Gold win. Insane!!!
I keep saying it, but I really cannot believe how good "Halt and Catch Fire" was, and that it got 4 seasons, and that basically nobody seems to have watched it.
Absolutely love the look of this upcoming Indie game 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗼. The Egyptian carvings are actually the playable environment 🤩

Bored of all these stories about the hot weather. Summer this, heatwave that... You'd think the whole world revolves around the sun.
My favorite stage of the year! That was extremely entertaining. Megan Arens was the biggest surprise, can't imagine she'll be at Picnic-PostNL for much longer. Well deserved GC win for Reusser. I really hope we see more brutal stages like this in women's stage races 👍

The triple A industry will definitely not fund unique games like this, they're too busy wasting money on AI and firing all the talent. So let's get it to 100%! I really want to play this 😁
