Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
"Creators MAY be able to opt out of SOME training data" is diabolical. Twitch needs to do better and either not push this out at all, or make all genAI features opt-out by default. I REALLY don't want to move platforms, but if this rolls out and I have to, I hope you'll join me there.
