Tropospheric nitrogen dioxide concentrations measured over Europe on 8 Oct. High concentrations can be seen in Italy’s Po Valley, along the north coast of Africa, and in other hotspots. NO2 is released during the combustion of fossil fuels and is known to exacerbate various health conditions. 😷
