Not speaking ill of the dead might seem like a good policy, but Ben Goldacre is now having to copy and paste the same reaction 1000000 times to everyone who provided context against his wretched scolding yesterday. Makes you think.

Super hero stuff is well unrealistic cos whenever you get a guy who can slow down time by a silly amount or stop it entirely you never see them using it win rap battles which is surely the first thing you'd be doing.

There once was a man named Rod Liddle Upon whose works one wouldn't piddle He just popped his clogs And has gone to the dogs But I can't find my tiniest fiddle.

A pair of these costs £240 as opposed to the £30 a solid pair of docs cost 30 years ago which is somehow even more of an increase than our batshit property market but sure people are just choosing cheap badly made stuff cos they love it so much, there are no othet processes at play here.

I don’t want to pick on this person but you can still buy Dr Martens that are made in their English factory using heritage materials and high quality Japanese-made Levi’s 501s that are just like the ones they made in the 80s. These are less popular than the cheaper, lower quality versions.

Lockdown people are so funny. They pull out their hair at the fact that schools were closed for five minutes, and then you ask them if they actually want to educate poor and minority children and they’re like of course not

Everything I’ve seen about the spycops inquiry suggests that it was always about bullying, molesting and generally fucking with a bunch of greenies and antinuclear protestors, because they are the kind of people the state can fuck over and stomp on with impunity, for fun.

Undercover police unit closed down over unjustified surveillance, spycops inquiry told

Senior officer behind closure says SDS caused ‘incalculable harm’ by infiltrating groups that posed no threat

landlords are robbing us fucking blind and in doing so they rob our local shops, cafes, public transport and services. disgusting parasites that never answer for any of it when media or politicians do their hand-wringing about closures & dead town centres

the article tries to make a concession by including this quote but ultimately it fails to point out that landlords take money out of the economy and people who receive government support put all that money back into their local economies

once you learn how big wolves are, it makes our ancestors seem absolutely bonkers for domesticating them. they looked at a pack-hunting carnivore the size of a pony and went "i'm gonna turn that into a corgi." the fuck is wrong with you

Yes lockdown was really tough for kids. Lots of those kids are teenagers now so maybe as a thank you our establishments could stop deliberately making even more things worse for them due to a weird systemic hatred of our own youth

From platforming based & bougie on LBC to give her a higher platform to yell her hate from to “just asking questions” about Covid and working with “I stopped gender care” Maitliss can we please recognise that the news agents/ its hosts are all the exact media ecosystem they pretend to examine.

There are working class and vulnerable kids who will never have the life they should have had because of school closures. Let’s address that too, shall we?

Have we shafted the youth by trashing society whilst encouraging a batshit housing market & doing nowt to help with (& often outright denying) the spiralling cost of other essentials. No, it was attempting to mitigate the spread of an incredibly virulent, deadly, & debilitating disease what did it.

We need to stop people from normal backgrounds going to Oxford and Cambridge until we work out what they do to a motherfucker. Social mobility is pointless if all it does is turn you into an abject prick who thinks theyre better than everyone else.
