@clondoner92.bsky.social You'll never guess what I saw in Waltham Cross the other day after watching the bus recovery video. Not the same guys unfortunately but such a coincidence!

The Kings Speech shows why Starmer must go. What a wasted opportunity! Where’s the urgent transformative programme to redistribute wealth, tackle the nature & climate crisis, bring water into public hands, & introduce rent controls & wealth taxes? No hope, no story, no vision
Our dependency on fossil fuels makes us vulnerable. Wars across the world are pushing up prices for households in the UK. Why keep waiting for the next crisis? We need to transition to clean power as fast as we can to protect people and our economy. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

"Xbox think they smart and shit, with the Xbox 360 and that... geometry. But now? They can't even count, they went from 1, to X, to S... then to AI? AI ain't even a fuckin' number, they call it Arti-fishy-ate Intelligence cause that IQ ain't even real homie. Fuck that shit aight"
Petition to bring back everyone's favorite @mta.info video now that bus lane enforcement cameras are rolling out on more routes
I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Good to see such a positive turn of events, I hope it works well for him, I really do! Also didn't know that Greater Manchester has a neuroinclusive code of practice, hopefully other regions will copy this. I'm university educated and autistic and work is so hard to get, it needs to change!

What a bunch of assholes Waitrose are! Next time benefits are attacked, this is what the disabled face trying work! He may have volunteered but clearly liked the routine, he needs to be paid. Obvious exploitation & discrimination from a multi billion pound company! www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news...

New! Cassetteboy vs Keir Starmer. This took absolutely ages, so if you'd like to buy us a coffee at ko-fi.com/cassetteboy we'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
Robot meets bollard. Nothing beats the #WorldBollardAssociation
Seems especially true with invisible disabilities. I used to be really good at masking my autism and was described as ‘higher functioning’ when I was diagnosed as a child. Now I have less tolerance of sensory issues(since Covid) & even family take issue. But I always struggled, I just hid it before!
I think a lot of ignorance about disability comes because many simply cannot comprehend how many of us manage with the symptoms we have. They think we must be exaggerating. The truth is were nearly always doing the opposite. It's almost always worse than we say.

god this reminds me of the day Theresa May's conference speech went wrong in about nine different ways, and there were people saying things like, "I don't know how you can feel so little sympathy you want to make jokes!" and the answer was "REALLY EASILY SORRY, I THINK MOCKING POWER IS A MORAL DUTY"

The concession made by the government are welcome but don’t go far enough
Cue the screams of "It's Labours fault for not giving us more money" while sweeping under the rug that they helped remove local government money over the years when wearing dark blue.
Something marvellous has happened in Hertfordshire but i bet the press won't mention it. I've now got a Green/Liberal Dem council, Liberal Dem/x county Council and Labour MP. 10 years ago this was a Tory stronghold. Please stop going on about Reform www.bbc.co.uk/news/electio...
