Are there news outlets that *only* publish researched stories at the expense of time to market? I'm increasingly feeling like if the story broke within an hour of it happening, it's not worth reading (the writing, not the story). And if it doesn't warrant an emergency broadcast, I can wait.
Against my better judgement I read an article about using Obsidian as a magazine to avoid doom scrolling... It was links. They added links to stuff they wanted to read to an Obsidian page. Ever feel like everything useful that could be written might already have been written?

One thing I keep being told on my games programming course is that, yes, floats are more expensive, but it's negligible in game development. Don't care bro if it don't gotta be a float I'm not making it a float.

When did the film journalism industry collectively agree it made any kind of sense to include a marketing budget in the "break even" amount but not the budget? If it needs to make $350m to break even, it did not have a budget of $140m. Words mean things.

I'll never understand websites that try to seize control of the back button to prevent you from leaving. Do they not understand the sheer bloody-minded petty stubbornness that drives me? Try that shit one time, and not only am I definitely leaving, I'm never coming back.
I think Imma have to call @microsoft.com's HR department because that Windows startup pop-up for connecting to your phone and using 365 has not been respecting my wishes for years now. No matter how many times I go through it saying I don't want it, it eventually comes back. No means no, Microsoft.
Not exactly setting my portfolio on fire with this one, but in my first few weeks as a games programming student, I made this for an assignment (we weren't allowed to use/make assets, only primitive shapes).
