This is a cool train but would be nice if the US could get serious about upgrading rail infrastructure so they can go faster than 79mph.

We rode light rail for the first time in forever because it was a monday day game. Street parking would be janky. Seriously, long-ish walk to train. Taking train back was 40 min wait and train was way slower than driving. It is like MTA is actively trying to make people hate transit. I don’t get it
Also crickets from @mta.maryland.gov about these slow zones on the light rail.
@mta.maryland.gov what’s up with the slow zones on the light rail south of Lutherville until near Joppa Road and then again between Mt. Washington and Coldspring Lane? Trains have been going 20 mph through there over the last several days.
Anyone at @mta.maryland.gov care to address this?
