Spent most of today writing, but I'm pretty proud of the results. And now I have a document I can use for XRFC's outreach planning~
Ah, but what's this about a special secret weapon? Each character has a different weapon and fighting style. It was an early idea that these weapons could be upgraded, but their "ultimate" weapon would be... You'd have to find and obtain it, but can't actually use it until you beat the arc.
I kinda also want the fifth part to REQUIRE finding the special secret weapon against said boss to get the Good Ending and actually complete the arc. Not sold on that, but I think it fits with the original inspiration and solidifies the arc--they can wield said weapon BECAUSE of their growth.
I realized this evening while listening to Saint-Saëns' Danse Macabre as I climb to a high: Being on weed might ACTUALLY help me composing music. No seriously, hear me out: Weed causes my mind to fragment; too much and I start "continuous respawning", but at a low level, I can separate out--

In other news, the Lasiodora parahybana also molted! I hadn't expected it, though it HAD been in hiding for quite a while. With this molt, I think it's officially a juvenile, too! You can really see where they get the common name, Salmon Pink Birdeater. Also Ahenobarbus butt. She molted too!
Came home from work to find miss Kālindī wedged between her substrate barrier and door, likely missed her new burrow hole which is right there. Thankfully it was a pretty easy “rescue”, and it doesn’t look like she hurt herself. Back in her burrow now.
tbh the last two days have been great for species affirmation, I still feel not great but that's also related so it's good :3
Appropriate air quotes because the most infuriating part about Americans debating "lockdown" is that it simply never happened. Having to pick up your Applebees and eat it on the sectional does not count. There wasn't even a brief moment where "everything" was closed. That's not real.
if you hated covid "lockdowns" try long covid
why is this such a complicated thing for people to understand
The WNBA has never had a trans woman play in the league’s 30-year history and now the right and other anti-trans activists are hammering the league over something that has never been an issue, proving once again it isn’t about protection but exhibiting cruelty toward trans people.
Hello I have made this due to a mutual having issues with some folks on here forgetting this fact and shouting at him for it. Feel free to use it as a handy PSA x
Happy PMD day, scrubs. #pmdday #pmd #pokemonmysterydungeon
Last night was interesting. Hard shift again, enough that I was dizzy in most every configuration except lying down (and even then a bit); while down, I kept shifting to a place where I was running, and so I was growling and running on my side.
"Amazon Prime now has GAMES!" Wow, thanks for loudly and proudly advertising the fact that not enough people find your programming engaging enough to keep watching through ads to make the service profitable
Sailor moon hitting her knee so badly her pain is depicted as her as a skeleton with hair bones is a perfect visual gag.
This seems significant 👀 The disclosure marks the first time a bank has formally tied money laundering concerns to U.S. President Donald Trump's family business. Capital One closed Plaintiffs’ accounts for anti-money laundering (“AML”) reasons. www.reuters.com/legal/govern...

If I make a Kill All The Kids In The Park Machine and push the button that kills all the kids in the park, then I killed all the kids in the park. This is really cut-and-dried established law. What the hell are you on about?
If I go on a hacking spree, it’s clearly covered under a variety of civil and criminal laws. If a robot does due to the negligence and incompetence of a person or company? That’s a little more complicated (for now), @lhn.bsky.social reports:
One of the things that's frustrating about this is that the association vendors are building between shipping unconsented privacy invading AI features and patching is going to hurt resilience to vulnerability exposure generally.
It’s really starting to grind me down
what the fuck why does this @stupidtwink.bsky.social comic keep happening?
Jez San, founder of Argonaut, donated 2 million pounds to the conservative party in 2025. He was the biggest individual donor in Q1 of that year. Please, be informed before purchasing anything. You can emulate PS1 games on basically any device these days (even your phone) with ease.
