If Doug Ford got more money for healthcare, he would simply reallocate it to: private jets; tunnels under the 401; ripping out bike lanes; MPP mistress rendez vous in luxury Toronto hotels; and many many other things. Not hips and knees.

My memories of childhood are reading in bed with a flashlight way past my bedtime, and when I’d hear your signature sign off after the 11pm news, “And that’s the kind of day it’s been.” I’d turn off the light and pretend to be asleep, since I knew parents would coming up to bed.

The diarrhea lettuce company, Taylor Farms, uses slave labor contracted from the Arizona Dept. of Corrections. The backbreaking labor is often performed by imprisoned Mexican nationals who would be otherwise ineligble to work in the US. They are paid $1.50 an hour.
