At my previous home it was a huge headache to get delivery because there was a home with the same number on a similar sounding street nearby. My new home should have no problem with delivery but the costs are so high. I can't justify delivery when I can drive. Is this being an adult?

Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.
I'm watching my parents' dog while they travel and she was going in to get groomed today. She made it 20 minutes before she was screaming at the groomer and had to be picked up. At least the groomer didn't charge me since they could only shampoo
The peaches in my back yard aren't quite ripe yet but the smell is amazing. I'll have to spend some time outside appreciating it this week.

Corn salad follow through! I've spent years unable to seriously use my kitchen because of a shitty roommate. Getting back into safely cooking with some easy chopping and vibes based measuring. It's pretty good, I think I'd swap the mayo for some other sauce base though. It's an unsettling purple.

Since I was out again I turned it into a grocery trip too. Picked up the stuff for a corn salad. Hopefully it'll be a nice snack for the next few days.
Thanks to @eidolon621.bsky.social 's suggestion I'm starting a new BG3 playthrough. I am playing a Dark Urge Circle of Stars Druid. I am here as an embodiment of the stars to create my own brand of balance with my Zodiac Killers (companions). This of course means Gale is Ted Cruz.

I would like to care about Magic again but two things continue to stop me. First I'm exhausted of all the collaborations/cross-overs. Second I would be playing on MTG: Arena and only want to play bots, but Sparky sucks and I doubt that has changed since I last played.
I'm glad to have wrapped up my FFX playthrough but now the post-JRPG emptiness has hit. I've got several games that might fill the hole but picking is *hard*. I've been sitting on Breath of Fire 4 since it came to steam, I could always actually spend some time with FFX-2 but Sea of Stars and FF8 too

I think it helped me put some feelings together about how I've only been able to share gaming with some people I care about and how much that means to me.

Was quoted nearly 9 thousand dollars to get 4 rooms of my house painted. Maybe white is fine and I'll just use lots of wall art and accents.
Dinner time! Farmers market pickups. Trying to be good and only eat a quarter of the bread I bought instead of all of it at once.
Doing the farmers market with @venizen.bsky.social and @whiskeypup.bsky.social so I thought it was a good time to do my first beard cleanup in the new home. Came out great.
If you accuse me of being focused in my gaming habits I will call you a liar. Still playing FFX and Hades 2 but I was itching for some slower paced nostalgia MMOing.
Half an hour of attempts is enough. I'm just going to mod the sigil in. Not worth the amount of effort with how random the balloons and birds are.

I never aim for this cutscene, but just by being myself I always get it. I love it. It's why I named my first cat after Lulu.

Because the landlords are cowards their realtor has been on every exchange and came up with this bullshit. I moved out early because they wanted to show the house, so I told them I'd be leaving things that I could have handled, they said that was fine. And they did get paid, rent for 4 years.

Just had to shoot them another email calling out the weirdness of claiming 6k in repairs and only being able to account for maybe 1.2k of it. And now the adrenaline is too high and I can't get to sleep.
