A floor to stand on. A springboard to rise from. That's basic income.

"Sufficiency" isn't measured per-person, it's measured against a floor: the minimum cost of covering basic needs. Uniform means everyone gets that floor amount. Sufficient means the floor is set at (or scaling toward) a level that actually covers basic needs, not a number tailored to each individual

I like the concept of sufficiency being added here because it does open the door for a discussion of CripTax. CripTax is, basically, when it costs a Disabled person more to live at the same or equitable level of comfort as a non-Disabled person.

Pay my bills and maybe finally start to have enough in my bank for emergencies. Eventually move away from the Southern parts of the US. I've never been financially stable in my life, so I'm not sure what else I'd do.

Basic income is always a thought. I'm trying to find cyclical funding idea options at the moment. Because we can't logistically just shoehorn something like this in. The previous pilots have all been funded up front and had faced a lot of political pressure on results.
