While typically rainbow-colored, this selectively bred form has a deep emerald metallic sheen. They love beetle jelly & sweet juicy fruits. #insect #beetle #jewels

No evening walk for me today as I'm knackered after spending the day walking around Margate. I love the sea and I love the sky, so this is my favourite pic of the day.
The boys had a lovely day out in Margate today. They visited the Turner Contemporary and then took in the beach...
Ed and Stede were able to have a sleepover with Ed and Stede last night...
What a cute little ship, in a pub filled with pictures of tall ships. Ed and Stede would feel very at home.
I haven't done art since primary school. I'm old! I've never tried to draw a person. I've just spent 5 minutes trying to draw Ed for #DrawEdTeach weekend. Yes it was going to be a stick man! I just wanted to join in. Sorry!! 🤣🤣🤣 I should really try and learn to draw. You lot who can are incredible.
Stede and Ed had a lovely time getting back on the water this afternoon 😁🌊 (yes, I spent my morning making a paper boat for the co-captains to sail around our paddling pool in. I'm very proud of it). It's surprisingly sturdy in a gust of wind but goes backwards as often as forwards 🤣
So I'm still on the late night walks, and it was such a beautiful sky. Bats and moths this evening. Venus was bright and visible in the first 2 pics.

It was such a wonderful day in Bristol yesterday with fellow pirates, but blimey am I exhausted today! I need an extra day before the week starts, to recover 😴
Great start on my journey to Bristol - train currently delayed by 14 mins (up from 5, less than an hour ago), putting my connection in jeopardy 😬🤞
