Essentially, all Proton is really saying is that foreign search warrants are handled according to Swiss law, rather than US law, which is nuanced. But the way they're wording it seems intended to mislead customers into thinking Proton will shield them from US law enforcement (they won't). 6/6

You are mistaken, we do not respond to legal requests from anywhere other than the Swiss authorities. It is unlikely that one could build a business through ignoring the laws of the jurisdiction that it is in. The mail provider you're moving to included.
