BREAKING: Todd Blanche has released what he calls a rescission of the slush fund (left). The last lawsuit he mentions is mine (Gill v DOJ). This doesn't change the fact that the "settlement" setting up the fund is still in effect. On the right, Blanche is LEAVING IN PLACE Trump's tax immunity.

Meanwhile, in Canadian mainstream media.... I searched CTV News, CBC News, Global News and the Globe and Mail for any coverage of Shopify in the last 24 hours. Nothing (except business reporting from the Globe, nothing on the CEO suggesting poor people should have less of a say in our democracy)

Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke says “good system.” In response to the following proposal: “Interesting... what about weighted voting proportional to the level of income tax you pay? (no income tax paid - O vote, $1-100k - 1 vote, $100-200k 2 votes and so on... cap it at 5 votes for $500k+. For those that constantly complain about the wealthy not paying tax/fair share they'd have nothing to worry about right? Why not reward representation of taxation and build a democracy around those that foot the bill?”
