If you thought today’s mutton/lamb combo of bare legs & a micro mini is diabolical in itself, you won’t want to know that I seem to have paired it with elastic-free undies, so now I’ve contorted myself into the weirdest splayed-leg walk lest every passer-by becomes my own personal gynaecologist.

OK I left a decade ago but the ABC has been freaking out in a digital age day dream for years & yes I did once say that in a management meeting! It became a place of endless strategy reformulations but little feel for its own culture & traditions.

As a former insider it's oddly reassuring to see ABC management continue it's fine tradition of alienating the people who actually want to watch it in return for chasing people who never will.

1st, congrats for the great reach. I think in early 2020s Sstack was heterodox coded, but not anymore. Notes is a game changer, so Elon hates it. Your follow up is a good point, but I guess people can appreciate the connection everywhere now. 'The more the merrier' kinds of work here.

I get much more engagement on Substack but it registers less because I feel closer to my mutuals here, some of whom I’ve known for years now from Twitter. Substack is much more my wheelhouse ideologically, cos it’s an echo chamber of my design!, so why does it feel so impersonal/ less social?

That’s cool, but I stand with Ess Dreck, Farshtunkeneh Mamzer, and look forward to the day these fardreyter stickers won’t pop up all over my street like the genital rash they are.
