Agreeing with oomf on X that antisemitism in the 2020s is also pushed by China. Antizionism as a unifying ideology, making chokepoints more friendly for China (Red Sea, Hormuz, Gibraltar), and a personal conviction that Jews control the US (a Singaporean said this right off the bat to me in 2009).

It is obviously sacrilegious and often the thieves aren't Jewish, but the motive is purely financial and easy to understand.
