Sometimes I feel like i was born in the wrong generation

Scary movie.

A five panel comic featuring Mariella, a mouse with long wavy hair and big ears, and Rusty, a rat with shorter scruffy fur and small ears. In the first panel, Mariella looks at a lineup of movie posters with rodent-like protagonists. In the center is a poster with a mousetrap and a scary font, resembling a horror film.

Mariella: The sports movie'll put me to sleep... The romance one, I think the book was better. Oh, how about the slasher?

The next two panels feature the characters exchanging dialogue. Rusty looks smug, while Mariella looks a little disappointed.

Rusty: Slashers... Predictable, lowbrow. The McDonalds of Horror. 'Sides, Slashers aren't even scary.

Mariella: But I won't want to see it all by myself!

The last panels, Rusty concedes as Mariella runs off ahead of him.

Rusty: Well, 'spose a bad movie review wouldn't hurt my blog.

Mariella: Oh, yeah! Maybe you'll finally get a fifth follower!

Rusty [thinking, looking self-conscious]: She said it so earnestly...

Paw paw tunnel, painting & ref- I did not know that wine berries (my problematic fave) could grow like that!
