I found it in a zoo, not as an exhibit, but it probably hitchhiked here with a tropical plant. It’s harmless & uninvasive. #flies #diptera #naturephotography

Stop! Hammer fly time! El Septimo Paraíso, Mindo, Ecuador
It was my third visit to the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park. Amidst the dense thickets, we spotted a Siberian sable. The "Pillars" are not merely a tourist attraction but a home to a multitude of species, including rare and protected ones.
