I know a lot of the bands from the era were explicitly apolitical, but has there every been a book or PhD dissertation or whatever about how The Troubles produced some of the greatest English language pop music ever.
I hovered over a Sophie Cunningham-related post on Instagram for probably half a second two weeks ago, and now 90% of my suggested posts are about her. (I barely even follow sports on there, mostly just people I actually know in person.)
