On am individual level, watch out for yourself and especially children if they are near lds/mormon people, even if they are family. I’m so serious about this.
I’ll say it again as an ex-mormon. The LDS church is systemically pedophilic and they will change the law to allow them to continue abusing children behind closed doors. They aren’t a funny, weird, little guy. They are taking our rights away to ensure they can continue on like they always have been.

We have also been rather consistent in saying you cannot contain eugenics to one issue. It is too convenient to capital to blame sickness on sick people. And it’s why it needs to be resisted openly, fiercely, bravely, and even when you want brunch.
Aparna Nair@disabilitystor1.bsky.social · 2d agoWhen disabled people/many people who work on disability/health pointed to the dangers of this kind of framing since COVID, they were usually mocked ("oh you think everything is eugenics") or ignored. But normalising the idea that the deaths of disabled people are desirable/reassuring is dangerous.

i think that it was easier for me to admit i was in denial about the pandemic because i also had to admit i grew up a cultist. when you already had your worldview shattered it paves the way to understanding your own susceptibility to being delusional
