Hey y'all, I'm gonna be doing a weekly newsletter where I'll be detailing things on the comics + art scene here on bluesky + across the atmosphere. I'll also include a weekly showcase for artists looking to get more exposure here. You can't nominate yourself, but if you have artists you think should

I've got so much documentation buried in my Bsky and past Twitter feed regarding the events that happened and the kind of back-alley methods and prompts of the AI-artists of yore technological iteration. They'd use "Artstation" as a tag when prompting MJ and SD for pretty and polished output.

Tim Sweeney and Epic has so much to answer for. My intro into the whole gAI debacle was the artist protest of late 2022. Epic had bought ArtStation, SketchFab and other portfolio websites Artists, musicians etc. shared their work and cracked down on protests against theft of their work.

My PC doesn't run DD2. I'll probably play DD2DA in 2035 if PCs are still a thing and I don't die from WW3 or depression. That's all I can contribute to the hype rn. I'm fucking poor.

🧵 Ah, the company that stole their partners work and trained on it through a technicality clause written long before genAI came out and claimed it was ethical is now trying to make a law to protect "style". Well isn't that... yikes! 😬 See a thread below of Adobe's tracks record of "ethical AI".

Adobe is pitching a new law that aims to protect artistic styles. It may be meant for AI, but all I see are blurred lines. tedium.co/2026/06/06/a... new @tedium.co
