Stavros Halkias: I don't wanna do the both sides bullshit because it's not true. One side is worse than the other, objectively speaking. One side is disappearing people and one side wants children to have healthcare. A lot of stand up comics happened to have some of the dumbest opinions on Earth

My limited contact mom posted a hateful gay joke on her Facebook (despite being fully away her grandson is gay), followed by a “I’m not a perfect mother but you have to thank me” meme. Okay. Thanks for the free womb rent.

Let me fucking tell you that our Sunday School teacher was telling us to be quiet, but this is all we wanted to talk about that morning. I don’t know much about Jesus’s fish and bread incident (the topic of that Sunday) but I live and breathe this legendary day in American animation.

August 11 1991 was the release date of Ren and Stimpy, Rugrats, and Doug 35 years ago today. What a legendary day for American animation.

Occasionally, my gender-fluid kid has been selling our turnips on an Animal Crossing Discord to a man in the Middle East at4am. Last night the man became upset when he saw my character’s name because “Ryan is a name commonly used by transgender people”. Ha, okay buddy. Just open your gates, bigot.

No spoilers. But BND is an incredibly healing movie. There are some incredibly emotional scenes. One scene I NEEDED: I won’t spoil them but I’ll post two completely contextless pictures. Easily a top 3 MCU film next to GotG and Black Panther.

Sally Field - the flying nun and aunt may in two Spider-Man movies. Sansa stark from Game of thrones - played by Sophie Turner who is also in an Xmen movie or two.

Need to do a cyberpunk dystopia story or even novel with multiple POVs, each contradicting themselves due to their own personal porpoganda-fed bias and feeling of futility and their selfish drive to be the main character in their own story - quite literally in this case.

Anxiety has been so poor that it’s becoming difficult to concentrate. We’re back in the “stay up at night, sitting in bed, staring at the wall” phase. I’m doing my best to keep my focus off the phone and more on writing. Spending time with the family when I can.

AI is everywhere, our own phones and cameras are spying on us. Self driving cars are killing people. The government knows what kind of cheese we buy at the store. People are using mindless feeds of seratonin videos to cope with corp+gov greed. We’re not “approaching” the dystopia. It’s here.

“You let the cats outside? Do you understand how dangerous that is?” Both my younger cats were living outside when I adopted them. One was abandoned by the young family next door and the other was living off cafeteria scraps and ducking two feral aunties who were trying to kill him. They’re okay.
