As a lifelong NBA fan, the league is becoming unwatchable. Any & every physical play gets a replay review that takes 5 minutes, constant foul calls that are wildly inconsistent (which doesn’t look great as Adam Silver gets in bed with predatory prediction markets)… just a slog to watch.
A couple hundred out tonight protesting the anti-trans propositions that passed in AZ and other states. This rally was organized very last minute so this is quite the turnout. State senator Lauren Kuby is also here. “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re fabulous, don’t fuck with us,” the crowd chants.
Tonight starting at 6PM there will be a protest at the state capitol over the anti-trans Prop 318 which criminalizes transgender students in sports and in shared spaces like bathrooms, showers, locker rooms, etc.

Black people in America have played the longest of “long games.” The resilience and persistence it takes to believe and to keep fighting no matter the obstacles.
EL-SAYED: And to all the parents who struggled to explain to their kids why the president openly mocks someone for their name or how they pray, let them know tomorrow that the bad guys lost.
That social sinkhole that opened up so easily and swallowed people is still there, and it's just waiting for the next strongman to activate it.

No, they want retribution. That's "corruption is bad" part of the exit polls. One of the things they want done is justice, which in this case means impeachment, removal, and jail time for the most corrupt figures hollowing out America.

Moxon@juliusgoat.bsky.social · 22h agoIt’s time to remember that enforcing consequence for corruption, prosecuting authoritarians, and purging white supremacists, is what countries must do if they want to regain health, and anyone who treats such acts as unhealthy, dangerous, or uncivil has no interest in health, safety, or civility.
If Dems allow Schumer & Jeffries to continue to lead the party after they abandoned Ilhan Omar, Mamdani, Angie Nixon, etc. and now call for unity with blindingly corrupt kleptocrats, then they will lose again and be right back at authoritarianism. Neither of them should have any say moving forward.
