First tried this rum at Pride in Tokyo this past June. Liked it so much I bought a bottle. Turns out my friends love it so much, too, that it's already gone after just a few monthly film nights. 😅 Good thing I restocked for next time. And you can get it through Yodobashi, which I did not expect lol

I can count on one hand how many times I've cycled to work this month due to the never-ending rain. It's so annoying as it's my main form of exercise outside of my weekly Pilates session on Saturday mornings. I really want to get back to it again. 😩

Well, this cheered me up after the rubbish morning rant. A student came to find me to give me some moon cakes as part of the mid-autumn celebrations (in China at least? Not sure about here in Japan). Apparently she gave all of her other teachers one, and me 3. 😅 Looking forward to trying them!

Things that have made me irrationally angry this Monday morning: - this goddamn miserable weather and another incoming typhoon - a kid with a hacking cough and his mask under his chin sitting behind me on the bus - a student's mother always emailing me 'Dear teacher', rather than my name 😅

The week from hell is over! Thank god. Now to await the next typhoon and see whether my school will close for a third day this term. 🫠
