PEACCH Lab presentations at #Botany2026 this week. I'll be giving a talk about dioecious mismatch in northern spicebush on Monday right before lunch and Liz Howe will be giving a talk on spring wildflower ecophysiology on Wednesday at 8!

Title reads "PEACCH Lab Presentations at Botany 2026". Below are pictures of two people with information about the timing and titles of their talks.

Wet and windy could never stop field crew picture day. I present the PEACCH Lab field crew of 2026 (thank goodness for start-up edition). The biggest field crew I've ever hired and probably will ever hire and we've been making the most of it.

My team is recruiting a MSc student for a new grant investigating forested wetland responses to Hurricane Helene. The student will lead a GIS project mapping disturbance type and severity in the ETSU Geosciences dept. The catch: they would need to start this fall semester (about a month from now).

Science peeps, particularly trainees: When reviewing grants, it really, really helps if you have a Google Scholar page, an ORCID account, or a website that makes getting information about you, easy. Some sort of web presence. I'm begging you. Make it easier for study sections to give you money.
