Spent the morning laughing at how ludicrously corrupt FIFA are. And then within a few hours I forget all that and am captivated by the match of the World Cup. The sport, somehow, consistently manages to transcend how awful the people running it are.
Football is ded to me (thanks again Holland). But this doco on SBS is a terrific watch about the improbable story of Ferenc Puskas landing in Australia and taking South Melbourne to an NSL title. Ange played for him and drove him around in a Datsun 200B. Great nostalgia trip too
