For all the handwringing about Abdul - not a member of DSA, not endorsed by Detroit DSA - being DSA, Detroit will be sending an actual DSA member to Congress in January, outing the first person to try and impeach Trump this term. You very likely didn't hear about it, and should consider why.

Got asked yesterday if I’d be willing to do some admin work for my old firm in Lansing. I said yes. Extra money is always good. Especially with student loan payments coming due. They’re going to discuss the idea further amongst themselves tomorrow & let me know what they’re thinking

I always buy every Ariana album from iTunes even though I have Apple Music. Some day I might not have Apple Music. Plus it’s my way of supporting my favorite artists But creating “limited edition” iTunes albums only available for 24 hours & releasing a new one each day to boost sales is icky

So my closest friend here in Detroit (the one I met in Bumble bff) is a trans woman. When we went to see Kid Cudi she was harassed coming out of the women’s bathroom by two younger girls. It was so upsetting. Since then I’ve come to realize that she actually holds back in her femininity out of fear
