David Thompson@djackthompson.bsky.social · 3d agoBy far the game I saw at GenCon that I’m most excited about is @leder.games upcoming design from Alita Robertson called Kart. It looks beautiful, and the gameplay sounds smooth and fun. Was super cool to have Alita give me an overview.

Kart ( @leder.games) sees players cobbling together speed machines that get progressively harder to control as they speed up. In our first play we slammed into hedges, tossed mud balls and water balloons at each other, and nearly slammed into obstacles at top speed. Can't wait for the next run!

Just played a game of Kart! that made me laugh until I cried. One of us couldn’t turn right, we both got stuck in the mud, and Alita beat me at the end by jumping over me in a desperate last move.
